Financial Services
· Senior Analyst and producer with corporation-wide responsibilities in wealth transfer and financial planning case development and production. Salaried advisor to bond brokers in insurance, equities, managed accounts, and all aspects of financial planning. Prepared illustrations and assisted in presentations as needed. Provided training in computer
applications and illustration applications.
· Independent broker providing comprehensive planning services.
· Consultant to financial services businesses in case development.
· Management of case writing department for financial services company producing in excess of 800 presentations annually with investment portfolio recommendations in excess of $250,000,000 based on analysis of total assets close to $1 billion, as well as estate planning and trust establishment recommendations. Extensive contributions to database development and application integration company wide. Supervisor of staff up to ten people during data conversion project, with normal supervision of four.
· Established and managed a proprietary marketing and contact database for a partnership at Smith Barney.

· Established a Wisconsin based partnership investment group. Return on investment exceeded 17% annually, with capital growth exceeding 100% each year.

 
Business Management

· Turned interest in live music into Florida’s only online promotion platform dedicated to providing current information on a regional scale to aficionados of live jazz and blues performance.  When printing, distributed excess of 200,000 copies per year; fully transitioned to online only promotion service in 2009.

· Established 501(c)(3) non-profit supporting Foundation for Gulfstream Goodwill Industries and all programs and processes for funding endowment while also managing Marketing and Communications department of the operating company.

· Established a Wisconsin based weekly publication consolidating information for specific clientele. Complete business development and design for new product. Sold business to become full-time Florida resident.
· Established an international fashion design company in St. Thomas. Set up business practices including accounting, licensing, budgets, and incorporation. Limited life corporation that terminated upon completion of contracts.
· Operations manager of St. Thomas branch of resort service business. Solely responsible for all accounts in Virgin Islands.

 

Retail Management and Sales
* Created and developed the first retail outlet for the largest manufacturer and wholesaler of quality fur and leather garments in America, based on concept of true duty-free merchandising from St. Thomas. Responsible for start-up operations, reporting procedures, licensing, store location and ongoing operations management.


Food & Beverage Management
*
Managed to-order kitchen for three seasons for The Madison Mallards baseball organization.

* Raised in a quality family owned and operated restaurant that was in operation by family for over 70 years. Hands-on experience in all facets of business with the exception of chef. Payroll, tax reporting, and bank reconciliation responsibilities prior to age sixteen.
* Bar manager for three Palm Beach restaurants. Cash and credit transaction and reporting responsibilities, customer service, scheduling, and inventory responsibilities.
* Managed bar/restaurant in recreational area of central Wisconsin, overseeing all facets of operation with P/L responsibility.

* Dining Room Manager at State of Wisconsin Maximum Security Facility for Juvenile Males.
